DO NOT ATTEND FREE CHAPEL GAINESVILLE GA!
I had attended this church for a few years and did business with them too. Not only have I done business and gotten screwed but I have witnessed quite a few of the leaders there SIN! I have been lied to from pastors there. I am just a disgruntled former member who got burned too many times. Now I am gonna warn everyone I can. DO NOT GO TO THAT SCAM OF A CHURCH!

A good friend of mine from Toccoa told me the shameful story of how they tried to pretend her brother, my high school friend, was cured from the terminal cancer he had, in the months before his death. My comments to her: "Is that the faith healing center in Gainesville, Georgia where the pastor fakes healing, yet at the same time lives in a multimillion dollar manion on Lake Lanier. The fact these fraudulent people are using religion to make money off the poor, old and sick is shameful, and it takes a personal turn when they tried to pretend that your brother and my friend Rodney Holcombe was cured by a slap to the forehead, when he later died, is truly abhorrent. Perhaps there is a special place in hell for preachers who blaspheme the name of God and Jesus in order to make money."
Has the faith healing of Jesus become the fake healing of ministers intent on using religion as a money making scheme? Jesus lived as a pauper, and preached on hillsides and next to rivers. He never promised riches, but instead promised salvation from our sins through faith.
The Bible promises salvation from sin through faith, PERIOD. It does NOT promise prosperity, happiness, health, or healing. Anyone who says it does is either delusional or a con artist.

No one has ever told a direct individual that there were instantly healed or anything of this sort , yes this is a Pentecostal style church & they do pray with oil & speak in tungs & praise GOD freely .
And if you thing that's strange we'll you right because the bible is strange but its true .
People get saved through this church by the power of Jesus Christ , free chapel takes no credit for anything they truly give all glory to GOD.
There baptisms are awesome , there building is great , the people are all blessed .

The bible does promise you PROSPERITY...Job_36:11 If they obey God and serve him, they live out their lives in peace and prosperity. Isa_66:12 The LORD says, "I will bring you lasting prosperity; the wealth of the nations will flow to you like a river that never goes dry. You will be like a child that is nursed by its mother, carried in her arms, and treated with love.
HAPPINESS...Ecc_2:26 God gives wisdom, knowledge, and happiness to those who please him, but he makes sinners work, earning and saving, so that what they get can be given to those who please him. It is all useless. It is like chasing the wind.
HEALTH...Psa_41:3 The LORD will help them when they are sick and will restore them to health. Jer_33:6 But I will heal this city and its people and restore them to health. I will show them abundant peace and security.
HEALING.. Mal_4:2 But for you who obey me, my saving power will rise on you like the sun and bring healing like the sun's rays. You will be as free and happy as calves let out of a stall.
Mat_4:23 Jesus went all over Galilee, teaching in the synagogues, preaching the Good News about the Kingdom, and healing people who had all kinds of disease and sickness.

Freechapel Worship Center is a "Filling Station" for the soul.When our Souls are sick it is our Hospital for healing in all areas because of our Faith. When you choose to have Relationship with your Heavenly Father Yahveh,you absorb spiritual infilling.
The Pastor, Associate Pastors, ect. are just humans like the rest of us and subject to the same sins we all face. They need constant prayer and the blood covering of Yehoshua/Jesus because they are servants of Yahveh/God and under sever attack of the enemy. We are taught to forgive and not judge because we will be judged accordingly by our Elohim. Stand on your own Faith, study and show yourself approved.Keep your eyes on Yahveh/God and his promises....not on man because if you do you will always be let down. We are all in spiritual school, some are in kindergarten and we progress as we learn the word of Yahveh and absorb thru his Holy Spirit/Ruach haKadosh. I stopped going to church-disillusioned as a child. At 56 years old after many years of telling people I "had my own relationship with god, and didn't need a church." I went to Free Chapel with my brother and my son. It is wonderful! Many are saved every week. The pastor is the best speaker I have ever heard. I am moved to tears every time I enter the building.
I have watched Ps J speak, and if you think he is a scam, then u don't understand a thing of what you are saying. Depending on what you believe and how you understand christian living and salvation, you URGENTLY need the salvation that Christ (the one that died on the cross) gives, the Jesus at Free Chapel.
I live in Australia and J.F. is one of the only worthwhile programs on TV in OZ. The man has a heart for God & is a shepherd. He's not after your dough mate, he wants you to open your hearts door to The Lord Jesus Christ & allow The Blessed Holy Spirit to seal you for the blessedness that God has ordained for you & restore you into relationship with The Father.
If you step back & assess your position in God & come to Him in humility your heart / attitude will change & you will see The Goodness of God overwhelm you in love & peace that you have never known before. This is not pie in the sky stuff but rubber burning the road material.
One is not to be condemned or shunned for why they don't believe what we believe but, when life keel's over & you stand before Whom we now know as a loving God, sadly for you becomes a Judge ~ who BTW will be Fair & Just.

I have been attending free chapel for 6 years now and I'm highly offended that you would put this website up telling people about how horrible free chapel is! At the time I was attending Free Chapel I was suffering with major depression and anxiety....little did I know that, THAT DAY I would walk out of that church being healed and never again suffering with those things, Sure our paster Jetzen Franklin is well off money wise, but he earns that money AND I don't believe he would EVER steal money from his church EVER!!! He is an amazing man that has gone around the world and helped millions of people? Sure he is a millionare but you know what HE IS BLESSED the money he is given is a gift from God HE PREACHES THE BIBLE THEREFORE GOD BLESSES HIM! Obviously demons are operation through you and I pray in Jesus name for you to be healed! It's demons that are trying to drag people away from this amazing church!!! I pray in jesus name you are healed. Amen.

I was raised in Apostolic Pentecostal churches my whole life as my father was an evangelist so we visited many churches from coast to coast.. I got pretty disgusted with so many things I saw and as I got older decided like many to come up with every excuse to not attend. My life was empty, going to the movies , hanging out with friends, travelling, all the things to fill a void that only can be filled with a connection..and that is what was missing. The bond that comes from a relationship that has commitments and a connection that can only come from fellowship. After years of running i found FreeChapel. 90 Miles from my home but I drove to Gainesville every Sunday for 4 years. Now I live in California and I travel over 90 Miles to OC Irvine . I LOVE my church and our leadership...Pastor Franklin is old school like my Dad yet brings refreshing concepts to this ministry and keeps us all engaged in the message. I am humbled as my leaders are ti be a part of such an AMAZING church and in my almost 5 years of attending have only seen and felt the presence of God's love. If your are ever in the area of Gainesville or Gwinn Co GA or tthe LA OC area, I urge you to PLEASE visit.. Your life will never be the same.. The ATMOSPHERE is Heavenly..God bless !!!

So I pray for you that God will remove the heart of stone and hate that is evident in your blog and replace it with a heart after God, a heart filled with love.

Amen amen. You couldn't have said it better. Been there over 8 yrs at Gainesville location and so many lies people tell. But that's what the enemy is there for to kill steal and destroy. People don't need to listen to minority. Majority rules. All those thousands of members can't be wrong!
People have to learn to be lead by the Spirit. And not a few disturbed disgruntled people. This is the best place to be. Gainesville, Gwinnett Ga, Spartanburg SC. And OC. God don't make mistakes. Our pastor is a man of intregrity, and once they find out someone in ministry is not walking rightly with God, they are out. They are still welcome to come to church. Now tell me if you get fired and you still attend the same church, doesn't that show you know you were in the wrong. Well I know 3 people for sure, 1 volunteer, and ,2 staff that got fired and still attend church all the time. People will be people. But our church does not fake anything and play with sin. Pastor never ever claim that he does any healing etc. He always give God all the credit. That person is saying about pastor living in a mansion!!!! Well it sure ain't the church money alone. I had my first healing miracle from free chapel. I was a wreck from taking care of my mother in law from Alzheimer's . it was my first visit .I ran up after the service and they laid hands on me and PRayed . all my emotional pain went away instantly that it kinda freaked me out . I've never had that pain ever again. In a split second from a nervous breakdown to complete joy is a miracle . God is real !! And powerful !!! I don't see why pastors can't have beautiful homes like other folks do . god loves prosperity!
There has yet to be a work attempted for God that did not produce criticism. In fact, if you want to avoid criticism, there is only one way: say nothing, do nothing, and be nothing! I can say that sticks and stones are only thrown at fruit-bearing trees! Pastor JF is anointed by God to preach the true Gospel of Jesus! and if he wants to live in a mansion, because he can afford it, PTL!!! He is a very generous and humble man of God! I attend FC in OC, Ca and the Spirit of the Lord is in each service, and many people get saved every week!! I know some of those people live in mansions also.
My wife started to attend free chapel about 6 months ago. She has always had very deep faith and has always walked and lived in the way until now. I have seen huge changes in her over the past 6 months that I can say I do not like. It seems she holds to every word this pastor Franklin speaks. My biggest issue has been the tithing. Though I have always taken great issue with giving money to the institution of church rather than the needy I agreed with my wife on a set amount which I felt was fair and she agreed to. This seem to work well for over 20 years u tip she started to attend free chapel. I am not a controlling husband nor do I keep a eye on the household checking account but with tax time coming up I received in the mail the contribution statement from free chapel. Come to find out my wife had taken it upon herself based on the teachings of pastor Franklin and the fee chapel to more up her tithing by 5 times I and talking into the thousands. First Peter 3-1 states wife's submit to thy husbands. Well that's not what is happening here. Based on the teaching of this pastor and church my wife has found it to be ok to lie and steal from her family for this pastor and church. Fellow unbelieving husbands if your wife attends this church you better watch your bank account. They are very good at what they do over there. I have spoken to many friends in the north Georgia area that are pastors at smaller a churches in the area they warned me about this pastor and his church but I said to myself no my wife is to smart for that. She knows the financial struggles we have gone through she would never get sucked in to providing for this church over her husband and doughter. Well I was wrong

I really need to speak and clarify, I attend FC and am a wife, and never ever ever has pastor suggested anyone to deceive their spouse, but be in unity with their spouse and to be honorable, loving, and encouraging. He does not pressure anyone to put themselves in financial distress, but only shares the promises God gives in His Word when it comes to giving tithe and offering. Your wife's decision to not consult you or include you would have been discouraged by pastor from everything he teaches. I would say she got overly excited and ambitious and may have a naturally giving heart and got ahead of herself on how far she went. I would ask God to bless it despite her choice to do that behind your back, when forgiving her, and talk with her about how discouraging it was that she did that behind your back. God will bless the giving if you both have a oneness, because He keeps His Word. He is faithful. He does care about your marriage though too. Relationships are very important to Him, so I pray He helps you and your wife work through this peacefully. and that you will be encouraged by the Lord personally. I know there are preachers who try and get certain amounts of money on TV from people, but Pastor Franklin is not like that at all. Trust me, I do not go for that either. No one should push you to give $100, $1,000, etc. You need to make that decision between you and God, and when you give you should feel fulfilled and feel joy not pressure. God is a loving Father who pours back into His family while multiplying what everyone is entrusting into His hands. My husband and I give to church, but also give to other outreach programs. It feels good to know we are making a difference. I think your wife may just be experiencing that joy thinking about that, but I think talking about keeping things in balance is important. Also, to encourafe you, when giving to FC they divide it up and designate it to outreach that is very authentic. They also have a financial association monitor their management as a choice and volunteered accountability to hold everyone in the ministry accountable. Keeping things upright and trusthworthy is critically imoortant to pastor and his personal witness. I hope this encourages you.

First of all, I don't even know why this website was put up. We all struggle with sin at all points in our life. Just because someone is a pastor, that doesn't mean they are immune to sin. Just because someone is a leader, that doesn't mean that they don't sometimes follow.
Second of all, the Bible says to pray for our leaders, even when they are in sin -- especially when they are in sin. “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority?; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, KJV). Read your Bible before you make statements about it and the Lord.
Third, The idea that, "money is the root of all evil," is wrong. Have you considered Pastor Franklin and Company's wealth to be a blessing? I attended Forward Conference 2016 (my first one), and I got so much out of it. I felt the anointing that was on Pastor Franklin and the speakers and the musicians. In fact, I wanted more, so I kept surfing the web for everything connected to what I had learned and experienced there (that's actually how I found this blog). Over 1,000 youth dedicated their life to Jesus Christ. This conference has been held every year for 13 years. Think of how many youths have been saved in that amount of time. Do you know why all of this happened? It's because in 2004 God called Jentezent Franklin to hold a conference for the next generation and HE OBEYED! If God also blessed him as a result, then you can't say he is a fraud (more below).
With regard to the Healing Center mentioned in oh-so-early 2007, I am going to tell you right now: JESUS CHRIST HEALS. There is no doubt. If you don't belong to a denomination that believes in the divine healing of Jesus Christ, you really need to read the Word. (Luke 5:17 and more on divine healing at http://www.dianedew.com/healing.htm). I certainly remember someone saying that Free Chapel was a pentecostal church, a church that believes in the power of healing.
If you believe in the power of healing, you will DECLARE it over yourself and the person you are praying for. With regard to your friend's brother, I am very sorry for their loss. I know they may feel pain and even hatred, but you both need to understand, that healing center was speaking health over your friend's brother. What he probably said was something like this: "God is a healer. In the name of Jesus, he has already done it. In the name of Jesus, you are healed." (Ecclesiastes 1:9) It is true that declaring healing over someone for money is wrong, and if Pastor Jentezen and Company are doing that, then you need to pray for him instead of criticizing him online. Again, the Bible says to pray for our leaders.
Sorry for that whole schpeel. I think you get my third point now, so I'm going to wrap it up.
Remember, God loves you, God loves the sinners, God loves his people, and God has called us to PRAY for our leaders.
Here is a summary of the main points:

The Pastor prays for people. He is not the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and he doesn't claim to be. My church and Minister for more than 12 years. Lives forever changed due to this ministry and the bridge it offers to bring the lost to Christ. A church or a minister doesn't heal or deliver. Only God does that. He gives and takes away. Pastor Franklin is a Catalyst with a great anointing. Riches or not...its clear we all leave this earth with nothing. He is well aware of that. This ministry has far reaching charities across the world, and its home towns. God continue to bless this church and its ministry. I pray this with all my heart.

I believe that when we pray for healing that sometimes God chooses to heal in the form of of death. No more pain or suffering, free to walk the streets of gold. My husband had cancer and I am thankful that God released him before it got painful! Who are we to judge the working of God!!

You've got a pastor with multi million dollar homes who can't deign himself to mingle with the commoners begging for more, more, more money, and people like me, a former member, have gone to the church to ask for help with a small utility bill and been told "it's not on the budget". It's not in the budget? Millions of dollars in tithes and where does it all go? It certainly doesn't go to helping people, which is where it SHOULD go.

I have been attending Free Chapel for 11 years. I have always defended Pastor Franklin when criticized for his wealth, lifestyle, or spirituality. Since eight years old, I discovered that I had the gift of discerning of spirits and have expressed many thoughts about men and women of God that have hit the nail on the head. Frightening prophesies have come out of my mouth, against my desire, and have happened.
I have been in the paramedical field for forty years and a doctor of public policy and administration for four years. Despite the fact that Pastor Franklin brings only Republicans to give a biased opinion from time to time, I've never judged him on his political views. He crossed the line, however, when he invoked the likeness of Winston Churchill's candid responses to "Pharisees-like" individuals, to a crude, crass, narcissistic, mentally unwell individual like Donald Trump. What in essence he did was tell us that all the love and goodness and gentleness ( the fruits of the Spirit ) that he and the Bible have told us to live by did not apply in his partisan world.
Pastor, you let a few of us down, and you will have to answer to God on that matter. In the meantime, a few of us migrants from my country have been mulling over the matter of whether or not we can continue to sit under your teaching. The deciding point came when my 31-year-old daughter, the historically youngest Ph.D graduate from her university some years ago, who holds a very important job at a federal agency in D. C., living the American Dream, inveigled me to attend once more on Christmas Eve night. She commented that the message was not typical style of our pastor and I felt for the first time in 11 years that the Spirit of God was not with our pastor then. I went to work the next day only to hear the same sentiments expressed by a coworker, and later in the week by an owner of a small insurance company, both seeking another place to worship.
It's sad when leaders in Christ find it necessary to use their platform for political bias. I love the Lord more than anything else in this world, and I cannot play political games with my spiritual life. I'm looking for another church, but will continue to pray for Pastor Franklin. In my country Jamaica, Christian leaders have their political biases, but they all give the three political parties an even opportunity to address the congregants. I can no longer convince my non-church-going husband (a dentist) that he was wrong when he said there were no sincere ministers in the U. S. and that he would wait until we moved back to Jamaica to start going to church again.
I now have to put the blame of the dangers we have placed on the world's survival on church leaders such as ours, who placed partisan politics ahead of everything , even allowing themselves to misrepresent the truth of the Bible, to put a very sick man in control of the nuclear button. The Bible said that in the last days even the very elect would be deceived.

Death to some is really sleeping away with the Lord. It's a form of healing also. So, the most a pastor can do is pray and we believe in the faith for healing together. People must be careful how they attack God's people. God do not play when it comes to His anointed ones. Amen. I believe in God, yet I was not feeling well. I prayed and prayed. I'm feeling better now. If the pastor believe in healing and the person being prayed for don't believe in his or her healing, there is a challenge there. God appointed the man of God, and so is it. You would need to be more detailed in why someone should not attend this church. I listen to it every week from New York and LOVE this church! Jentezen Franklin gives great messages! My only knock on this church is it does not teach out of the King James Version however Franklin does mention the KJV at times but other than that this church is wonderful!
All people sin. Let me repeat that. ALL PEOPLE SIN! The only man who never sinned was Jesus Christ and he is God. We all make mistakes and do things we regret and are not proud of. That does not make you an evil person, if you repent and try to be good and put your faith in Jesus and have him in your heart then it is okay.

Amen! We became members last weekend. Pastor Franklin always gives credit where it belongs. Why is it ok for a business owner to have millions, live in a mansion but men & women who worship God cannot be millionaires? It's REDICULOUS...If you pay 10% Tithes, help others (giving Alms), Offerings and you're connected to God by being Saved, God blesses his people. God wants us to be blessed so we can bless other people.

I have known Pastor Franklin for over 20 years, worked on staff at the church for 8 years, and heard almost everything from "you cant go there until you show them your tax return" to "they worship with snakes" all of which is not true. He receives a salary, he writes books, he travels all over the world preaching at a pace non of us could keep up with. What he does with his money is his business. I think the problem here is that if you deal with man then your going to be disappointed. We have a tendency to put more importance to what man says instead of what God says. I was extremely hurt over something that led to me leaving. Stayed away for 4 years when I finally realized that I was only hurting myself by not connecting back with the church. I get fed there. The Bible warns not to put down God's anointed and I believe Pastor Franklin is anointed. And if the money, time or talents you give is for the church or the pastor and not from your heart to God then you probably shouldn't give at all. In this day in time when being a Christian comes with attack we need to support each other instead of tearing it down. God Bless

The house he lives in on Lake Lanier was built by his wife who at the beginning of their marriage started building and reselling homes which was taught to her by her stepdad. I have been streaming online with Pastor Jentezen for more than 8 yrs and I've been blessed in every way through his discipleship from the word of God and his personal experience with God as his testimonies saved me from depression, sin, doubt. Around the year 1995 I happened to click on Jentezen Franklin on my tv. In that moment he was praying over a certain area of the body that is rarely prayed over... I had inherited a horribly painful condition. The top part of my arms began to heat up and instantly I felt better. I knew in that moment God had healed me. I went twenty years without pain. It was a drastic difference. I pray you all study more about the healing process. I also hope you would take the time to read a magnificent book that will change your mind forever about the power of God. It is called “Embrassed By The Light.” I would recommend this book over a high school degree and I am an educator. Of course you need a degree... I am simply making a point. Read this book!!!

The American Christian experience is completely a millennial. The faith walk is until you go home to be with god. Unfortunately like so many churches this one never touches on Jesus Christ Gospel. Amen! We joined Free Chapel last year. We've never heard Pastor Franklin or other Ministers ask for a certain amount of money. You're giving to God so his word and works can go around the world. The Bible commands us to pay 10% Tithe and Offerings. Why can outside businesses live lavish lifestyles, yet Pastors are to be so poor? Not so, we want to be under an Anointed Pastor who is Prosperous in all areas of their lives. Our church goes beyond just helping others.

The church is not fake nor is it a money scam. When pastor prays over people for healing he is asking God to heal them, God does the work, if it is in gods will for them to live they will but if it is in gods will for them to die they will die, there is no fake healing, god tests us and never gives us more then we can handle the death of your freind happend for a reason and if you can not see that then I'm sorry. Pastor also makes no money from the church all of his revenue comes from books and guest appearances at other churches and such. All of the money made by the church is put towards building new campuses, paying staff and mission trips/ charity's. While he is a good person preacher I still find some of f his teachings shallow and legalistic at times. I have been there a few mos and am very dissatisfied with the lack of friendliness and general detachment and lack of depth overall in teaching and am going to find another church. Super unfriendly there.

Yes it's a great church but we went down the wrong road a few years ago and came off the fence and backed the guy in the white house shame on you guys church and politics have no place together

Ok. I think everyone in this thread has their own issues because the bible clearly states that we shouldn’t demean the character and opinions of other men just because we don’t agree with their point of view, instead pray for them. Therefore every single one of you that have argued your views on Jentzen, the church, the bible, Jesus, etc..you are just as bad as the person who started this ridiculous thread to begin with. Especially the statement that the leaders sin. ��♀️ Come on folks EVERYONE sins!!!!!! People have this idea that sin is your lifestyle (drinking, smoking, drugs, porn, adultery, etc..When in reality it’s so much more, it’s basically our hearts and how we treat one another.
Our tongue (words) is our biggest sin.
Now, my next statement is not hearsay it’s a friend of mine, his wife and his two young children that have attended and are members of FC Gainesville Campus and have given consistently for four plus years.
-Four weeks ago they found out his wife had a serious health issue that was life threatening. She had to quit her job and begin treatment immediately. Her husband called us because we own a contracting business and he wanted to know if we could give him some part-time work outside of his full time job, caring for his children while his wife is sick and taking care of her as well. Of course he needed the extra money to offset losing his wife’s income but he also needed it because his wife’s treatment included a medication that was $1,000.00 for every dose. My husband asked had he been to the church for help with the medication and what he said next was SHOCKING...he said he asked the church if they could help with just one dose of the medication and they asked for all the paperwork, which I understand completely, then they did some research on the computer while he waited and she then said “I’m sorry sir, you haven’t given enough to the church for us to help you at this time.” WOW ��
You talk about going against the word of God!!!!!!
If you have a relationship with God and you read your bible then there’s no need for me to explain any further.
It definitely put the entire “Kingdom Connections” ministry in a whole different light for me.
You can be your own judge of this situation because if I sat her and shoved down your throat how wrong they were and all the reasons why, then I would be no different than anyone else that argued their way through this thread.
I’m sure they’re saving souls and that’s amazing but the bible says “if you see your brother in need and you do not help them then the love of God does not live in you.”

We are new to Jentezen out here in Cali. PTL for Utube we found his weekly sermons. I have been a Christian for over 30 years and cannot say i have heard someone so enlightening giving edifying spiritual food DAILY.

Mate, glad to here you can get something in OZ. I was spiritually dry in Australia. I saw one church in Sydney. Are there many Christians there?

Going to Free Chapel saved my life. Jenetezen Franklin was called by God to preach. Love his sermons. Can't imagine going anywhere else.
Franklin is as slick as a snake! I walked away after attending for 11 months. Things began to not add up with his teachings! Tithing being one of those!
Does anyone ever look at his children's IG accounts? Or even his??? He lives like an elitist! He thinks he is above all! Look at the friends his children have? They don't live a very Christian life! They're very judgmental, snobs! And Franklin is making millions upon millions, on the backs of the working class. God didn't send out beggars, he sent out teachers. To teach his word, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. Not a one verse Charlie, who takes the Word of God out of context! He should NEVER ask for tithing from people who are on disability, or living on Social Security. But there's times he had passed that begging bag around more than once, collected money for whatever he sees fit! Yes he lives a lavish lifestyle! That's a FACT! And Yes, he and all of his family live like they're elitist! That's also a FACT!
He is a FRAUD! FACT NUMBER 3!
I judge the Pastor I choose to follow by these things.
1 - How he preaches.. If he is dancing on the stage and shouting I am put off. I cant see Jesus running around and yelling about God.
2 - The Home they live in.
3 - How expensive their clothes are and what they are driving.
4 - They ask for money too much.
